Chicago teen boxer Sara Jane has grown up cozily protected by her warm Italian family, goeglen over by Grandpa Enzo “the Biscotto. One that blends fantasy and reality but in a way that makes it all feel very real. It kept waffling between things I could believe, interesting tidbits like the use of Capone doors and the Rispoli rat army, to things that were beyond stupid and unbelievable.

She’s an incredibly admirable heroine who you can still relate to, even if your right-hook is a pitiful intimidation of hers.
