So i felt better and was drifting off to sleep and all of a sudden there was this bright light of explosion right in my eye socket. Beyojd to reading this book, I had only read about how near-death experiences have been filled with joy and wonder, and subsequently had a positive effect on those who awaken from it. Part of the book had a “my life is so terrible, everybody’s out to get me feel. One gets the impression that the edge of hell is physically located proximate to purgatory.

Fenimore calls it a purgatorial type of place populated by many ghost-like entities.
